I am the baker, blogger, and photographer behind SookieCookie. I love coming up with new and exciting recipes that are indulgent and worth every bite! I also share recipes specifically for those who like desserts to be not-too-sweet. I´ve had people who don´t like sweets and people who have sweet-tooths tell me that the same cake were the best they have ever had!
I launched SookieCookie in 2024. My dream has always been to work with recipe development in some way, whether I started my own café or blog. I obsessed over recipe ideas on my free time whenever I could, so this felt like the perfect outlet for my passion!
I use the Canon EOS 6D Mark II for all my photos and videos. I love this camera because it has a flip screen that allows you to see what you are shooting when you are taking overhead shots. For the lens I use the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4. This lens is relatively inexpensive and is great for overhead shots and flat lays. At the moment I cannot afford the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8, but it is on my wishlist. That lens will help take detailed photos in crisp quality, but for now I just lower my tripod to get the “zoom effect”.
I am a completely self-taught baker! My mother has always been a huge influence on me as she herself is passionate and talented about baking. I remember being 3 years old and obsessing over recipes, so this truly is my calling and my lifelong dream!
